Making a presentation about the two photographers was interesting. They have a lot commons and differences. Before they became full-time photographers, they have different jobs or interests. They both experienced illness in childhood. They both love nature photography. But their focus is different. For Ansel, he showed us the majestic view of nature. Ansel is a great environmentalist, too. But he got critic because the lack of people in his photograph. The great French photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson said “the world is falling to pieces and all Adams photograph is rocks and trees. For Robert, he has photographed the changing landscape in American West, he presented us a way to see the nature and human influence. Here are two photographs are symbolic for them. (The top one is from Ansel Adams)
