Originally I took pictures of the bell in Roosevelt quad as the foreground, and the door to a building as the background. But, after eating lunch with a friend outside of the Administration building, I decided to take a picture of the fountain instead. It wasn’t the fountain that changed my mind, but rather a structure in the background that looked so modern and complicated compared to the simplicity of the fountain.
