Today we met a Fine Arts Hybrid Lab. I really like the fact that we go to different SINC sites for class because I learn a lot about other SINC sites and I am able to experience going to these SINC site. Since I usually only work at SBS and the library, I never really visited a lot of SINC sites like what I am doing now for this interning class. It is a great experience. I learned that the Fine Arts Hybrid is a new SINC site due to high demands and I was so surprised when Rose told me that there were students who had 24 hour access to the SINC site. That was because many Art and Music majors needed applications that were only in the Hybrid SINC site or the Fine arts SINC site on the first floor. I was very surprise, but its good to hear that the SINC site is still good and running; it means there are trustworthy students out there.
After Hybrid, Nam brought the interns down to the Emedia SINC site on the first floor. This site was also available to a handful of students for 24 hour access. At Emedia, we went over the basics of the SINC site. This was different from other SINC sites because they have more music and art applications such as the pad that is on the table, sound proof headphones and other equipment. In the Emedia site, theres also a cabinet for Faculty and a cabinet for consultants because there are certain equipment used in that SINC site for professors. It was also amazing that there was an awesome sound system in Emedia site. During class we played around with the pads in front of the computers at Emedia. Its an art application and using a special pen, anything written or drawn on the pad was connected to photoshop on the computer. We also played around with garage band for a bit. It was a fun and interactive class.
