Internship Class Day 9 (4/4)

Today we met at the ESS building.  I never knew there was a computer lab in that building that was supported by TLT.  This computer lab were for architecture majors and people who want to do urban designing.  All the computers in the lab were dual monitor, which is pretty amazing since people can multitask better.  After touring the ESS computer lab, we went to the Harriman SINC site and the Harriman computer lab in room 313.  The computer lab was not ran by anyone and when we walked in we saw people eating and drinking.  There were no signs on the wall, however the lab was TLT supported.  After the lab, we went to Harriman SINC site.  This is the first time I have been to Harriman SINC site and I did not realize how big and empty this remote site was.  It would be a great place to do work without getting disturbed.  At Harriman, Rachel paid us a visit and taught us about eportfolios.  We browsed through a few eportfolio web sites and then she told us what to include in our eportfolio.  Eportfolios should be professional, but it should also have hobbies, interest and skills that people may not know about.  For Rachel, most of her eportfolio was about her love for music and playing a musical instrument.
