Our goal was to improve current treatments of pocket hematomas by creating a device that is simple, customizable, cheap, and comfortable. Previous chest compression designs for treating pocket hematomas had constrictions of where the pressure can be placed and pocket hematomas do not all occur in the same exact location. Our addition of a zipper allows for easy access to the patients chest, our fabric is breathable so that the patient is comfortable, and we have adjustable straps to fit patients of all sizes.
