In my current research rotation in Dr. Du’s lab, I aim to study the brain and hemodynamics of transgenic Alzheimer’s Disease mice via optical neuroimaging modalities. The tools include the multimodal imaging platform (MIP), which can provide information simultaneously on neurovascular networks, hemoglobin oxygenation/deoxygenation levels, and cellular activities, and optical coherence tomography (OCT), which can be used to image cerebrovascular angiography with quantitative cerebral blood flow information.
