Working with the Ngäbe-Bugle Indians of Panama

After our initial trip to assess how we could best help the communities of the Ngäbe-Bugle indian reservation, we returned in August 2014 to conduct a workshop addressing 4 main topics of particular interest and concern:

  1. Basic first aid and CPR
  2. Assisting in natural and uncomplicated labor and delivery
  3.  Natural herbal medicine
  4. Organic agriculture

The Ngäbe-Bugle indian participants were extremely pleased and highly interested in the information and methods that Hope for a Healthier Humanity brought to their communities.  On this trip we recruited experts from Honduras, also of indigenous descent to take part in our workshop as the principal instructors in natural herbal medicine and organic agriculture.

We will augment the work already started by conducting a dental brigade in December 2014.
