Interview IV: Antonio Aguirre

Q: Thank you for contributing to “For Hotness&Health”, let’s start with some general information. What’s your age, sex, and origin?

A: 22, Male, Long Island

Q: How do you define hotness?

A: Let me think. I would say physical attraction for the most part. In addition, to person’s general vibe.

Q: How do you define health?

A: Physical well being. They way your feel on a daily basis, how’ your body’s doing.

Q: Do you see a correlation between “hotness” and “health”?

A: You know I think, in some ways kind of because there’s two sides to the coin; you have other peoples opinion of your attractiveness and hotness AND how you yourself view your hotness and health. I think it’s foolish to say other people views on how you look are not going to affect you. In a lot of ways they shouldn’t but it direct affects you. Your physical health directly stems from your own personal view of how hot you are, if you have a negative self body image it’s going to impact you in a lot of different parts of your life.. You know you’re not gonna take as good care of yourself, you might not eat in the way you should and it’s just going to reinforce the negative self body image you might already have. How hot you see yourself as, along with how hot other people see you will impact your health because it forms a cycle.
