Welcome to the new academic year! We, the IACS Student Association, are thrilled to be associating with you as you participate in research events, professional development activities, and social events. As a student association, we are excited to facilitate you all with unlimited opportunities to enjoy life@IACS by learning, exploring, and engaging together.

We are planning to continue hosting events like IACS Student Seminar Series accompanied by Brown Bag Lunch Sessions. Students will present their research and share knowledge during these informal, convivial get-togethers. Additionally, we will be organizing social events encouraging student-faculty synergies – outings and other suggestions are ever welcome given circumstances. This coming academic year, we will take advantage of every resource to develop ourselves. We will arrange talks and workshops on cutting-edge technologies, including Ookami, with our partners. 

COVID-19 has impacted all of us. Keeping that at the top of our minds, we plan to schedule events to bring all of us together, overcoming silos most suitably. With the help of Ann and Chelsey, we would closely monitor the change in COVID-19 response guidance and will update instructions prioritizing the health and safety of all.
