Professor Jack Dongarra, University of Tennessee, November 10, 2016

The IACS Students Association is pleased to announce that Professor Jack Dongarra of the University of Tennessee has been invited to speak at Stony Brook’s Provost Lecture Series. Professor Dongarra is a world leader in high performance computing. He  has worked on high performance libraries such as LINPACK, LAPACK, BLAS, and MPI. His LINPACK Benchmark Test has been used since 1993 to rank the world’s fastest supercomputers in the TOP500 list.

Professor Dongarra will be presenting An Overview of High Performance Computing and Challenges for the Future, on November 10, 2016, in the Wang Centre Lecture Hall #2.
