Throughout centuries of human history, humans have had various interpretations of time and space and have expressed and archived those understandings which were accumulated through many methods and ideologies. The goal of this project is to reinterpret the efforts that people have made to understand time and space through the medium of photography. For this course, I will be making two projects which are divided into each category of time and space, and each project will accommodate different subjects about the main topic.
For this project, I referred to various fields of humanities. The way how humans have approached time and space has been constantly changing. In ancient times, these two concepts were approached philosophically and artistically, but in modern times, they are approached scientifically and logically. Furthermore, unlike in the past, when time and space were identified as flows of energy, in the present, we view them as essential units to explain the existence of the universe. Even now, humans do not have an accurate definition of time and space, but efforts to understand them have been slowly approaching the answer over the centuries.
Therefore, I have listed the ideologies and details of the studies that I referred to for this project.

    – Physics: Light, Speed, Mass, and Explanation of existence (Worldview), Quantum Mechanics
    – Mathematics: units, energy
    – Biology: Evolution
    – Philosophy: Truth, Rationalism, Empiricism
    – Art: Architecture, Fine Art, Media
    Henry Bergson: Creative Evolution
    Albert Einstein: Theory of Relativity
Carlo Rovelli: The order of time
    etc…

I would like to express my perspective on these matters through digital and analog photography.
