Since the dawn of time, Anxiety is a feeling that everyone around the world has been familiarized with, old or young. For too long, it’s racked us with fear and doubt, but in spite of that, those who have these feelings or the condition still find a way to move forward in life, and some, artists in particular, have harnessed those feelings to make something creative with them as long as art has been around. From the melancholy, dread-filled “The Scream” by Edvard Munch to the works of Frida Kahlo, which were inspired by her traumatic life experiences, we know that anxiety is not always all-consuming and could be used to make fulfilling artwork.
