project #1 – time of day

These photos were taken throughout the day at different times. I centered my photos around the window that is in my dorm room in order to capture the light coming from outside. In some images, I used a standing mirror which allowed me to add some dimension to the subject matter. It was an interesting experience to watch how lighting changes throughout the day, and I also appreciated being able to capture this gradual shift. With this photo series, my mission was to play around with camera angles and to also take advantage of some of the intense lighting in order to get a contrast of value in my images.
