Story Events:

Greymatter wakes up on the ground of a junkyard.

A hunter sent by Ex-corp looms over him.

Hunter jumps down and prepares to strike.

Greymatter and the hunter clash.

Ultimately only one can survive…Greymatter is victorious.

Early Concept Story Board:

Main character is deactivated and body lies limp at a landfill or scrape yard.

Lightning strikes and reactivates main character as well as powering a discarded time drive nearby. Time drive creates a temporal anomaly surrounding the main character.

As main character is gathering his bearings a Janitor dispatched by Ex-Corp tracks down the main character and eliminates the main character.

This subsequently triggers the temporal anomaly which creates a time loop and takes the main character back to the moment lightning stroke.

With a second chance main character dodges bullet but is cut in half by  the janitor, triggering another time loop.

Third times the charm, main character dodges bullet and then parries the janitor’s sword. Then landing a fight ending blow.

With the janitor terminated the main character stares at the Ex-Corp building in the horizon calculating the next move.
