I am a Biomedical Engineering graduate student in the accelerated B.E./M.S. degree program at Stony Brook University. I have been working in the Dr. Congwu Du’s Lab as a Research Assistant since August 2013. I have previously interned for the National Institute of Drug Abuse at NIH to study calcium related neurotoxicity of cocaine. I am interested in the development of new bioimaging systems using innovative ways to diagnose diseases, image brain functional changes, and detect vasculature hemodynamics. My current research involves the use of multi-wavelength optical imaging to study hemodynamic changes and neurotoxic effects of drugs in the brain.
