For this lab on typography, I was inspired by an everyday observation: trees. The image I drew in my head would essentially be the word, “leaves,” taking the places of images of leaves, and the words would be warped to suit the actual shape of a leaf.

This gives the audience an idea of the meaning of the word, “leaves,” because we know leaves to be a piece of nature that stems from the branches of trees. This is exactly what is happening here.
