Jean Hendrickson has been a Lecturer in the Program in Academic English (formerly English as a Second Language) since 2000 and currently serves as Academic Coordinator for Oral/Aural courses. She holds a BA in Linguistics at Oberlin College and an MATESOL from the School for International Training. Her primary interest is second language acquisition and pedagogy; she specializes in teaching academic writing and in international TA training. She is also continuously engaged in informal classroom research, materials development, and teacher collaboration.
