I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Stony Brook University, where I am advised by Prof. Shikui Chen and working in the Lab for Computational Modeling, Analysis, and Design Optimization (CMADO). My main research interests are in the field of computational modeling, generative & topological design, structural shape and topology optimization. In particular, I am working on the modeling, design and optimization for linear, nonlinear, dynamic, multi-material and multi-physics problems with applications of soft robots, electric machines, metamaterials and compliant mechanisms. Before I started my Ph.D. program, I obtained my Master’s degree in Northwestern Polytechnical University and worked in the area of manufacturing process simulation and optimization for hollow turbine blades.
