About this project.
This is my first time doing this kind of project, so I found this project is full of challenges and fun. I have tried my best to do this as my first time doing photography project. Hope you enjoy it~

At the beginning, I choose the dorm at Roosevelt Quad as my shooting target, for I am a lazy student. However, after few days’ shot, I became unsatisfied with my photos. Therefore, I choose to do this project from the beginning again.
Dorm at Roosevelt Quad

At this point, I have to change my subject for this project. Is there any building at SBU can be a nice target to reflect the change of light during a day? I thought about that for days until there was a spark appear in my mind: how about the Umbilic Torus in front of the physics building? That is one of the most famous buildings at SBU. At because it is a solid geometry with only one side, it could reflect the light much better than dorm.

Personal Feelings
Standing in front of the torus, it helps me to think. This is a fun project. And the most important thing is that by taking pictures from morning to night for torus. I have not only learned the change of the light in taking pictures, but also feel that how tiny we are as human beings when compare with the universe while watching at the torus. And how long the road of science it is, which need us to keeping seeking and searching. Thanks for this project, it is not only a chance to learn how to take pictures, but also a good chance for me to relax, to keep calm and to think.
