In this task, we are asked to give a presentation about our favorite artists.
My favorite form of art is photography, especially landscape photography. Therefore, my favorite artists are all landscape photographers.
For those who know me, one of my favorite landscape photographers is Thomas Heaton.
Thomas Heaton is a landscape photographer from Scottland, UK. He has a Youtube channel where he shares his landscape photography experiences. Thomas starts taking pictures during his college life when he was 16. He travels around Scottland and many areas around the world, and he takes a lot of stunning pictures.

Thomas Heaton is a professional Youtuber and runs his own website. He is like a mentor whom I never met before. His videos and works encourage me to go outside with my camera. To observe, and to feel this world with my camera.
Like Antoine de Saint Exupéry, a French writer, once says: “If you want to build a ship, don’t drum up people to collect wood and don’t assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea.” Thomas Heaton’s works have similar effects on me. My goal is to become a landscape photographer like him.
For photography beginners, Thomas has three tips for them: 1). Get up early, and stay up late. 2). Don’t try too hard. 3). Slow down, think more, and shoot less.
For those who want to be a landscape photographer, Thomas also has three tips: 1). Keep it simple. 2). Read books & learn from others. 3). Don’t give up, persevere & believe in your vision.
Another of my favorite artists is Jim Richardson.
Jim Richardson is a photographer for National Geographic Magazine and a contributing editor for its sister publication, TRAVELER Magazine. Richardson has photographed more than fifty stories for National Geographic.
Jim Richardson is not only concentrating on the landscapes but also on different cultures.

My Works
I like taking landscape pictures. Since I do not have a car and sometimes I am lazy, all my works are about the places within 5 miles. I want to take some pictures with people in it. However, since I have a little bit of Social anxiety disorder, I always failed on that.
