Guido Klumpe
Guido Klumpe was born in Germany in 1971. His left eye is almost blind, and his right eye had only 25% vision when he was born. This is incredible for a photographer. This may be the reason why his works are concise and bright in color. He started photography when he was 16 years old, when he didn’t even have any concept of photography. He always works with light, colors, reflections, and forms of the city landscapes in relation to the human being. His work combines three genres that influence each other: street photography, minimal photography and abstract photography. In his abstract works, he combines three-dimensional into two-dimensional. In this way, the landscape of the city changes into an abstract artwork. He often uses high saturation colors such as blue, green and red. The strong but harmonious comparison appears in his work and it gives the audience a strong visual impact.
