Hi, My name is Joseph OHara, and I’d like to thank you for visiting my research page!

Here, you can find my latest research, information about past projects, and information on reaching out to me.

I am a graduate student in my first semester of the Master’s in Biomedical Engineering at Stony Brook University, which is where I received my Bachelor’s in Engineering as well. I took a year off after undergraduate, before I decided to return to get my Masters and further myself as a biomedical engineer.

I aim to take my knowledge to the industrial side of the field, and work on medical devices that focus on diagnostic aspects of the field.

Outside of school, I work at Target during the night, but I love listening to music, discovering new bands, and playing video games with my friends. The band that I’d recommend right now is “Bleachers”, and the video game that I’ve been playing the most is Horizon: Zero Dawn. Both provide a unique and enjoyable experiences, albeit in entirely different ways. Innovation is important in all fields, and I’m hoping to bring that to the field of biomedical engineering!
