My long term career goal is to become a physician. Ever since I was a kid, I had always told myself I wanted to become a doctor. However, it was not until I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis at age 12 that I really fell in love with medicine. I found the scientific/biological component of everything super interesting, but even further came to realize the impact healthcare professionals can have on a person’s quality of life. Ever since then, I have aspired to become a physician, pushing myself to do well in all aspects of life.
