Chloe Nevers

Chloe is a senior majoring in Chemical and Molecular Engineering with a specialization in Nanotechnology. She has done research with the Chemistry department regarding the synthesis of Iron Sulfide and has done multiple internships with Parker Hannafin in the Environmental Health and Safety field.

Ruth Pereira

Editor

Ruth is a senior majoring in Chemical and Molecular Engineering with a specialization in Tissue Engineering. She has done research regarding liquid embolic agents as an REU with the Garcia Program. Prior to pursuing an undergraduate degree, she worked as an elementary school teaching aide for four years. She is a member of Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society and is involved with several clubs on campus.

Zoe Schwarz

Editor

Zoe is a senior majoring in Chemical and Molecular Engineering with a specialization in Sustainability at Stony Brook University. They are also minoring in Sustainability Studies. They spent their junior year doing research with regards to sustainable methods of cotton fabric reuse under the supervision of Dr. Taejin Kim. Zoe is a member of Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor’s Society and is actively engaged with several other campus groups.

Daniel Arnoldi

Assistant Editor

Daniel is a senior in the Chemical and Molecular Engineering major with a specialization in Materials Science. For his thesis, he has worked with the Shinnecock Nation to evaluate the efficacy of implementing solar panels on select homes. He has served as additional help with the editing of this year’s edition of JUCER. Daniel will be attending Stony Brook University for his graduate studies in Chemical Engineering to earn his doctorate.

Jessica Hofflich

Jessica Hofflich is a PhD student in the Department of Materials Science and Chemical Engineering at Stony Brook University. Jess received her B.E. from Stony Brook in Chemical and Molecular Engineering in 2018, and also currently serves as Graduate Assistant for the Stony Brook University Honors College and Garcia Research programs.
