Personal essay: For my final photography series for ARS 281, I decided to do what I love most and photograph nature. After the natural environment project, I was reminded of how much I love photographing flora, fauna and all things natural. Not only that, but I very much enjoyed the intricacy of putting together a cohesive series of images that have a theme or convey a message. My series consists of eight images all surrounding the fleeting feelings of autumn as the season changes to winter. A lot of warm tones are used throughout with the exception of cooler colors fading in towards the last couple of photos to represent winter’s creeping presence.
