Gerhard Richter is a German Artist who is known for a style called “overpainting”. Aside from his paintings, his photographs specifically are haunting and touch upon the sorrow and guilt of living through war, something that is often felt but not seen. I found these photographs of his to be touching, giving life to those emotions and even going as far to say that they’re a phenomenal representation of PTSD.
