Levi Silvers joined the CEM Group as a Research Scientist in September 2019!

Dr. Silvers’ current research focuses on the mechanisms by which clouds and the large-scale circulation interact and how the results can influence the climate. He earned his Ph.D. from Colorado State University where he focused on large-scale balanced atmospheric dynamics. Since then Levi has worked on model development as it pertains to the simulation of clouds and cloud feedbacks in global climate models, as well as idealized model configurations like radiative convective equilibrium.
