Final Project Proposal (Final Draft)

Miniature World

For the final project, I am planning to make something interesting and funny, and basically is a response to the humor. The theme would be about some incredible scenes with some miniature model figures. It should be one of my favorite photography styles I love, and I have never tried to do it before. It is more like a photography style/technique, which is called Miniature faking or Tilt-shift photography. That is what I want to do like a giant overlooks the world as a HO-scale size. Nevertheless, I will be focusing more the miniature model figures with the precise contrast and light. Miniature model figures definitely are one of the main parts of this project, and I will use anything around us to make up the scenes. According to my project title – Miniature World, the images will be depicting the world like what it is going on with human being; it might be a war scene or some daily ordinary scene that would be happening on everyone everyday.

Actually a photography artist who is called Christopher Boffoli inspired me to come up this concept when I occasionally checked out a online fashion magazine one day. I felt that I want to do that for my final project and it must be so much fun. At least I can try it and gain some interesting photography experiment as well. The only difficulty is the precision of focusing on the HO scale figures, and captures the background well. Anyway, this is the very useful photography experiment.
