Floating quantifier outside of the edge

Research questions:

  • Can quantifiers float beyond the right sentence periphery?
  • If so, does the float have an effect on the semantic scope of the quantifier?
  • Would this type of quantifier float be analyzed as internal (constituting a single speech act) or external (yielding a separate speech act) to the head noun?

Multiple adjectival construction and ordering

Research questions:

  • Do Thai adjectives allow stacking?
  • If so, how many adjectives does a single NP allow in a row?
  • If multiple adjectives occur, do they follow the ordering restriction regarding subjectivity?
