Project 1 – The Sequence – Kelly Smith's ARS281 Photography Blog

For the Sequence Project I chose to take pictures of my dog’s favorite chewies. I set them up in front of a white background, white foreground environment to make them appear on display as in an advertisement or a museum exhibit. Most of the time, we buy these items because of how cute or polished they look knowing full well they will be destroyed shortly after. I wanted to make these mangled objects to appear in their best state, like their own glamour shot. The rough textures and misshapen features now make these objects one of a kind. Their new character is why I chose these objects to shoot for my sequence.
