Hello World! (For real this time).
I’m an extremely introverted person, so it feels a bit unnatural for me to write in a blog. If there’s something on my mind, I would rather find someone to talk to. After all, I have a tendency to rant or lecture and it’s only by knowing my audience that I can avoid completely boring them. People who are interested in bullying in South East Asia are a different crowd than those who are interested in the skeletal remains of homo sapiens in Omo Kiblish.
Not to mention that talking about your own growth in a person is dull and is pretty much wallowing in your own self-satisfaction. If anyone perchance came here to see the professional credentials of the individual known as Ken Glemarec, the blog on “SB You” would probably be far more informative.
So, I’m just throwing this post out there in the hope that it will interest someone. Not, that it really matters. This is my first post, so it would be in character for me to start with a rambling, moralistic post about something I read recently (which I will come to regret as later posts surface):
I recently finished “The Price of Inequality” by Joseph Stiglitz. He’s a good writer and a fascinating economist. He takes the time to dispel some myths that has surrounded the way economics works and he also counters some misconceptions on economics that have risen due to political dialogue. One in particular was the whole “greed is good” shtick, since in a society like ours it’s possible for greed to create a negative sum game.
Also I’ve recently learned to actually post instead of saving drafts, so that’s a plus.
Huh, this was far shorter than I thought it would be. Well, I’ll probably think of something else to type later.
