From this course I hope to not only be able to more deeply appreciate the music I already enjoy, but to also appreciate the music others listen to that I would not necessarily listen to on my own.
No two people interpret lyrics the same way, and I am interested to read and discuss how our class interprets both our assigned songs and songs of their choice.
A person’s taste in music is often very telling of someone’s personality and I’m excited to learn more about my classmates.
I hope to add a few new songs to my Spotify playlist.
