For this project I took inspiration from magazine photographer, Tyler Mitchell. I was inspired by his use of various backgrounds in which he highlighted his models in a nature filled background full of trees, leaves and shooting outdoors in comparison to using indoor studio lighting.

I also took elements of Vivian Maier’s work and incorporated that into my photo series. Vivian Maier’s use of reflection in her self portraiture work always intrigued me and it the mirror captured her in a way that made her look powerful and emphasized the focus of the subject. This is what I would like to to with the fashion accessories that I will be capturing.
