Unphotographable

Unphotographable

“Unphotographable” is a project created in 2004 that has extended world-wide. The premise is that sometimes there is a photo we want to take– but for some reason it never happens – and these photos are not meant to be forgotten.”

Described below is my “unphotographable” moment in which I could have been captured with my camera.

This is a picture I did not take…

Bowls filled with savory red beans, stainless steel pots stacked to the brim with flavorful rice, snapware containers stuffed with layers of cajun seasoned sweet potatoes, steamed chickpeas and cucumbers. The different vibrant colors all clashed together to create a sea of colors. Chopped green onions, red bell peppers, oranges, bright yellow squash, it was a feast for all to attend. Pots and pans of food smothered the table as my mom was setting up to prepare the thanksgiving table, decorated in fall earth tones. Burgundy, deep orange, olive green and cherry red complemented the long rectangular dining room table as it awaited the arrival of guests. Candles lit to a dim light as the streaking glare from the wine glasses reflect the light of the chandelier. The table was almost set.. all that was missing was the people.
