Anxiety Disorder (Panic Disorder) 

What is it?

Panic Disorder is a type of anxiety disorder that occurs in people who experience random, out of the blue panic attacks repeatedly. These panic attacks are episodes of intense fear that are accompanied by various physical symptoms. Some symptoms include shortness of breath, dizziness, pounding heart, trembling or shaking, chest pain or discomfort, nausea, blurred vision along with many other symptoms that could occur. Why I chose this?

I chose Anxiety disorder because I have dealt with feelings of anxiety and panic attacks in my past. Anxiety attacks are different for everyone who experienced them and through this photo series I want to portray my past experience with anxiety. I am grateful to have learned more about anxiety disorder and it has helped me move forward to a positive mental health journey.
