Bio
Kristin was born and raised in upstate New York. During this time she developed a love for the outdoors which would later become the basis of her nature photography. After taking an introduction to digital art class in High School, however, she would also discover a love for digital illustration. She is currently attending SUNY Stony Brook University on Long Island where is pursuing a minor in Digital Art and continues to explore her passion for photography and digital illustration.
Kristin’s goal when creating her work has always been to tell a story. She is especially motivated by the challenge presented by the medium of photography to communicate stories found in nature through a single moment captured in time. Additionally, she enjoys the similar creative challenge of creating motion through static, digital illustrations by focusing on dynamic imagery which serves to tell a story in their own way.
