“Splitting Headache” is a linocut print that depicts a brain, modeled after my own using an MRI image. The brain is split in half, forming the shape of clouds. The clouds pour rain down into the void bellow. I choose to keep the image black and white to resemble the nature of MRI which feature white images on black background. The grainy black backroad is representational of the “foggy” feeling and vision often present with migraines.
