This children book story deals with a cat owner who discoveries that her new pet only truly cares about itself while she faces her childhood fear.
Summary:
This story deals with a little girl named Rose whose parents decided to get Rose a pet. At that moment, Rose spots a big fat white cat which she names the cat Stella. Stella and Rose became best friends over a couple of weeks. However, that changed when Rose noticed something strange was occurring in the house. Rose discovered that she has a new animal that moved into her house. That animal turned out to be Rose’s biggest fear which was a rat. Rose ever since she was a kid, she was dependent on others to help her through her issues. Rose started to realize that her new pet Stella was nothing more than a lazy cat that didn’t any interest in helping her get over her fears. At that moment, Rose has to face fears without Stella. Stella suffered major consequence because she failed to catch the rat.
Art aspect:
This book was influenced by my childhood experiences and children book that my mother would read to me. I added a couple of audios which include cat snoring and rat shrieking into my story because I feel like it would add suspense to the story. In one of the pages, I didn’t wanted to state what animal Rose discovered because it would cause the reader to lost interest. However, the rat shrieking would persuade the reader to continue to read the story.
Another aspect deals with that I drew all the characters and background to add a little of personal touch to the story. I thought to myself why not let my cousin draw something on the characters which included the dress and the name tag on the cat.
In two pages I included a stop animation videos because I felt that it was necessary to demonstrate the actions of the animal. On the last page, I draw Stella being followed by a cloud as it rains on her. This was purpose of this was to allow the readers to feel sad about the cat being throw out of her house and loses a friendship. I allowed the scenes to develop because I want the readers to love the relationships between Rose and Stella.

Moral Lesson:
The moral of this story is that someone shouldn’t be dependent on others to help them overcome their fears. You have to be the one to overcome your fears because it would be rewarding at the end.

“Water Pollution” is going to be my main theme for this project. Over the years, the oceans have slowly become a soup of trash which has affected the ocean environment and the animals. The sea animals had been swimming in nasty contaminated water which has a negative effect on the sea animals. In the near future, I envision the ocean being so clean without a trash in sight. Also, I envisioned the future as a plastic-free zone where millions of people use recyclable bags and bottles. In addition, the number of oil factories would diminish in the near future.

The first picture deals with the main subject being the oil factories in the middle of the ocean. The color of the sky starts to darken when the oil factory gets on fire. The clear blue ocean water starts to change dramatically as oil spilled. In this picture, I wanted to address the issue of the oil factory spill incident that still has an effect on the ocean. The oil has a negative effect on the sea animals habitat and population diminished. The aftermath was quite enormous that it took a long time for the ocean to get somewhat better. However, the area in the Gulf of Mexico would never be the same.

The second picture deals with the city which is built upon a landfill of trash. The sea turtle has a plastic around its arm which is cutting its blood circulation. The fishes swimming in plastic floating in the water. While the corals bright color starts to diminish into dark dull color.The hands holding the earth demonstrates  At the bottom of the ocean, the sand is covered with trash. The main issue is that people need to rise up to change their lifestyles. Humans need to stop polluting the earth. The third picture demonstrates how the future would look like when everybody stops polluting the world. The main solution that helps with pollution is to reuse and recycle.
