Stony Brook University, 16 y 30 de abril, 2025

How did colonial Latin America shape ideas of race, body, and sexuality? What role did language and politics play in defining inclusion and exclusion? These questions continue to resonate today, as colonial structures persist in contemporary societies.

This roundtable series brings together scholars and artists to explore the intersections of colonialism, embodiment, and identity in Latin America. Through two thematic sessions, we will discuss key issues related to language, politics, the body, and sexuality.
