Below is a short video describing the technique we developed for generating high-resolution pathline and velocity vector fields from microfluidic flows, requiring only a brightfield microscope and a high-speed camera.

This video won the Best Soundbite Video award at the 15th Northeast Complex Fluids and Soft Matter workshop (NCS15)!

I presented this poster (.pdf download link) describing my second research thrust (the projected covered in the above video) at the SBU Biomedical Engineering Department’s 2021 Research Day, for which it won the Best Poster Award (Faculty Choice)!

I later presented it at both the BMES 2021 Annual Meeting and the MicroTAS 2021 conference.
