Project 1 – Memory

A Distorted View

Memories are strange because they can be allusive, and stray far away from the reality of the past. Although part of me craves accuracy when it comes to recalling memories, another part of me is intrigued by some memories’ fickle nature. Every time a memory is recalled, it can be changed many ways based on the mood, time, or environment you are in. With this piece, I wanted to portray what it’s like recalling memories. It is difficult to recall memories accurately and sometimes feel like you are looking into the past through a distorted lens.
