Would you like to participate in our brain imaging experiments?
We are seeking healthy subjects for fMRI studies done at Stony Brook Hospital or Stony Brook University SCAN Center. You must meet these requirements to be in the study:
- You must have no metal or implanted electrical devices in your body. (Metal includes any piercing which cannot be taken out and some dental work beyond normal fillings.)
- You must have no history of head injury leading to loss of consciousness, neurosurgery, or neurological conditions.
- You must not suffer from claustrophobia.
- You must be able to remain still while lying in the magnet up to an hour and a half.
If you meet all of the above requirements and would like to participate in one of our studies you will need to fill out a health/safety form. You can download it by clicking here. It should take about 5 minutes to complete.
