• Major in Mathematics: math has always fascinated since a young age. I find math very rewarding not only because of the skills, such as critical thinking and problem-solving, you develop and improve but also personal satisfaction.
• Major in Applied Mathematics and Statistics: continuing with my passion for math, I decided to also pursue a major in applied mathematics and statistics.  Statistics is a great tool with different purposes: from decision making to rhetoric.
• Minor in Writing: it does not matter how good an idea is if you can not efficiently communicate it. Writing allows me to express myself clearly, to different audiences, by carefully crafting my essays in order to achieve my goals.

Dean’s List:  I have made the Dean’s List (a selection of the top 20% students) at least once every year at Stony Brook
