In this series I focused on places around my room, as it’s the place I find myself in most often, especially during the pandemic. It’s a place that’s simultaneously comforting and depressing, both freeing and restricting. I zoomed in on places around my room that I constantly see, like my bedspread or computer screen, and put them together as a sort of narrative, in the order that I would see them. In some images I played with revealing my actual self, such as my shadow on the wall or my face reflected digitally in a virtual meeting.
