Raymond Emamezi Okoro professionally known as Ray’Em is a photographer based in Lagos Nigeria.

Ray’Em was born in Delta State, Nigeria. He developed the love for photography at a very young age at the point where he was going through some difficult challenges in his life. Photography to him was a way to see the world in a whole new perspective and a way for him to build self confidence.

I love the way that he is drawn to how people portray themselves through their looks. He believes that one’s dressing says a lot about who they are .Whether it’s portraits, fashion, album covers, editorials, commercials, magazine covers, Ray’Em shoots to identify, capture and project the true and real essences of his models and to help them feel beautiful.

Drawing early inspiration from photographers like Annie Leibovitz, Lindsay Adler and Allen Daniel, Ray’Em hopes to truly make a difference and bridge the gap between photographers from Africa and photographers from other parts of the world. He hopes to one day be a world-renowned photographer inspiring others to the craft for generations
