We humans have an undeniable love for animals- whether they are wild animals we see outside or our own pets that live in our homes with us. Humans have a deep psychological bond towards animals, and the way we interact with them when we are young shows a lot about our mental state. Children who interact kindly with animals grow up to be kind people- whereas children who have a history of abusing or mistreating animals grow up to be psychopaths who eventually harm people.
When it comes to a well cared for pet, however, there is no denying that the animal views humans and itself differently than other animals. The cat for example, is known throughout pop culture as being “conceited” or “snobby”, as compared to dogs, who are thought of as loyal pets to humans.
Humans and cats have a unique relationship- while they are not as excitable or outwardly friendly as dogs, we do keep them around for some reason.
