Passing: This is a photo I did not take
of the Long Island Expressway at sun down as cars headed home from a long day. I was driving home and came to the top of a hill when I saw the lines of cars in front of me. I thought how cool it would be to get a picture of this from the edge of an overpass overlooking the traffic. The sun was just setting on the horizon triggering the cars to have their lights on to be able to see the darkening road. These lights would be red on the right side and white on the left side of this possible photo. Not everyone likes the LIE due to the traffic it can produce at this time of night. While some dread the traffic itself they just can’t wait to be able to get home and relax after a long day. I personally thought it would just be a cool photo due to the lighting from the setting sun and the cars below.
