Task 6: Final Project Proposal demonstrating self-resourceful research direction in the form of a Final Project Proposal and project-work follow through.

 

Project Title – Light Paintings 

 

Project Description  – (200 words)

For my Final project I would like to learn how to essentially “paint with light” in images. These types of images fascinate me; to be able to capture the movement of light in a fluid way is amazing to me. I intend to use lights and fireworks to make marks with illumination. I love the darkness, but I love the glow within it as well, which is why i think this kind of art attracts me. Similarly, I would love to see the northern lights, because that is nature’s way of this process of painting with light. I feel that these works by LAPP-PRO give off this magical essence, as well as the artist I did my Presentation on, Trevor Williams. Both artists work in the same ideologies and themes, but they did it in different ways and you can see within their images what kind of vibe each artist gives off in their work.
