BME 312: LabVIEW Programming in Engineering

LabVIEW is the leading software development platform that enables engineers and scientists to effectively create and deploy powerful measurement and control applications. This course systematically teaches LabVIEW with the focus on the data flow programming model. The highlighted course topics will be basic programming logics, graphic user interface design and parallel programming. It also teaches hardware integration using LabVIEW built-in functions for data acquisition, instrument control, analysis and data presentation. Hands-on projects and demonstrations will be implemented throughout the course to enhance the knowledge learned in lectures. This course is part of LabVIEW Academy program sponsored by National Instruments. Students can the LabVIEW certification exam at the end of the course. However, the best time for the certfication is after you have accumulated at least six months of LabVIEW developement experience. Those who pass the exam will receive Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer (CLAD) certificate from National Instruments. Topics covered are:
