Harini Krishnan, Research Assistant Professor
Hometown: Chennai, India
Research Interest: Mechanisms of cell adhesion and migration, cell metabolism, tumor progression.
Currently working on: receptor tyrosine kinases- IR and its homologs, non-receptor tyrosine kinases- Src and Srms
Fun Fact: I have a cart as a lab bench extension.
Also, I love fluorescent microscopes- sometimes I pose with one even if I am not working with it.

Samantha Hayashi
Program: Molecular and Cell Biology

Research Interest: I am studying disease-associated mutations in Mig6, a negative regulator of the tyrosine kinase receptor EGFR.
Fun Fact: I broke my leg when I was 2 years old by jumping off the jungle gym at preschool, don’t be afraid to reach for the stars.
